Dave has really started to get to work on the nursery...which is probably a good idea as we get closer and closer to meeting these little guys. The room is not to big but we will definitely miss the space. It has been Dave's office/mancave since we moved in and he has had to move things all around the house though we are still not sure where some things will be going yet! Here are some pictures and you can see we are starting to accumulate some stuff (we also have a crib and glider...just not in the room)!
If you can't tell from all the stuff there is a changing table and dresser in there...along with diapers, clothes, and other little goodies.
Dave has started to prepare for painting as you may see by some of the tape. I think the prep might take longer than the painting! There are 2 giant windows and 3 doorways in this room. Oh the old houses...so much character but also some weird stuff...3 doorways to one room-granted one is a closet but still!
Here you can see the paint options we are toying with for the nursery. Not sure which direction we will go yet but it won't be the one on the top. That was our first option and it is terrible. So what do you think? From left to right...
Option 1: I can't remember the name of this one so we will just call it Sensational Sage
Option 2: Moss
Option 3: Scotland Isle (or as Dave put it Kermit the Frog smeared on the wall)
What's your vote?
I vote Moss! The first one looks gray to me. The last one too green!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Micah. I like green, but that last one is really green....
ReplyDeleteLove the first option! Poor Kermit might scare the boys :)
ReplyDeletei like the moss as well, it has a calm appearance
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else...yes for the moss, or the lighter shade of green. That last green is scary!!! Looks like you two are having fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteEither one of the first 2 look good, the 3rd looks a little too bright, but it's hard to tell in pictures, I'm sure. Are you able to keep the windows open down there to air it out?
ReplyDeletedo any of them go with the kermit color? Maybe you could paint just one wall the kermit color b/c I like it but it might be a little much if all the walls were that color. Can't wait to see the "after" pictures! :) Wish I were there to help.
